Donating blood is an act of solidarity. Join in and save lives! That is the motto of this year’s World Blood Donor Day, which falls annually on 14 June – the day of the birth of Karl Landsteiner, the discoverer of the Rh factor.
This day is an opportunity to thank all selfless blood donors and to become a new donor. We are proud to have 36 active blood donors in our company. 🙏 This year our colleague Zdeněk Vlček became a recipient of the Golden Cross for 80 donations. 👏
But it is never too late to decide to donate blood.
