Solidarity, responsibility, and a willingness to help have long been part of OMEXOM GA Energo’s values. That is why we participated again this year in the international Giving Tuesday initiative, which took place on December 2, 2025.

As part of this charity event, we organized an employee collection, in which colleagues across the company participated, not only in the Czech Republic but also in Slovakia. Thanks to their willingness to contribute and the support of the company, we managed to raise a significant amount of money, which went to facilities caring for children with health or social disadvantages.

The financial support was distributed among the following organizations:

  • Children’s Center Plzeň
  • Children’s Center Trnová
  • Hájek Center
  • Children’s Center Chovánek, Brno
  • Children’s Home Česká Lípa
  • Návrat organization in Žilina

In total, we donated CZK 190,000 to the facilities, with CZK 50,148 coming directly from employee donations. At OMEXOM Slovakia, employees contributed EUR 390, and the company supplemented this amount to a total of EUR 1,000.

The symbolic checks were handed over in person at the individual facilities. Meetings with the management of the institutions and professional staff once again confirmed the importance of long-term and meaningful assistance. “It is during these meetings that one fully realizes that health and quality care for children are among the most valuable assets,” says Zdeněk Židek, CEO of OMEXOM GA Energo.
